Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game is an arcade-style space shooter where players pilot a lone spaceship to defend Earth from alien swarms. Your primary objective is to navigate through waves of infinity galaxy enemies, eliminate them, and ultimately save the Universe. The game features touch-screen controls for maneuvering your ship and offers a progression system where collecting items allows for upgrading weapons and enhancing your spacecraft’s capabilities as you advance through its numerous levels.
Core Gameplay and Controls
In this game, players control their spaceship directly by touching the screen, allowing for precise movement to dodge incoming fire and position for attacks. The core loop involves facing an increasingly large number of alien adversaries across various galactic environments. Players can also utilize active skills during space battles, adding another layer of strategic engagement to the combat encounters.
Progression and Ship Upgrades
As you progress through the game, you earn the ability to enhance your spacecraft. This involves collecting various items during missions, which can then be used to upgrade or change your weapons, including guns and lasers. The goal of these upgrades is to unleash your spacecraft’s full lethal capacity, helping you overcome more challenging enemy formations and boss battles.
Levels and Multiplayer Modes
The game is structured around more than 160 levels, each featuring immersive missions to complete. Players will encounter multiple extreme boss battles that test their upgraded spacecraft’s capabilities. Beyond the single-player experience, Galaxy Attack also includes a dedicated Multiplayer mode, allowing players to engage in 1 vs 1 or 1 vs 3 competitive matches.
Recent Content Additions
A recent content update introduced new challenges and gear themed around The Hollow Eclipse. This includes a new boss, Gravebell, and powerful new equipment such as the Galaxy Seraphim and Grimlight Hawk. The Grimlight Hawk, for instance, provides lanterns that unleash homing ghosts capable of inflicting Fear in PvP encounters, while Grimlight Wings enable spiraling X-slashes that can destroy enemy ships with a direct hit in PvP. A set bonus, Ghostfire Cross, is unlocked when combining Wings with either Seraphim or Hawk.
